Key Responsibilities

  • •Service and calibrate Measurement & Test Equipment (M&TE) to meet requirements in the PWA-Material Control Lab manual and other aerospace requirements.
  • •Perform capability and suitability testing of M&TE for dimensional or electrical discipline.
  • •Investigate non-conformance and troubleshoot items not meeting calibration requirements.
  • •Work within SAP and specified calibration systems to update information on M&TE and prioritize calibration tasks to meet turn times.
  • •Support Quality, Production, and non-production initiatives using CORE tools and create standard work and operating procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • •Knowledge of ISO17025 and general competence for testing and calibration laboratories.
  • •Understanding of metrology and willingness to learn measurement uncertainty and apply it.
  • •Experience with calibration requirements (ANSI Z540) and troubleshooting items that do not meet requirements.
  • •Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
