Job Summary

Lead the technical vision and roadmap for off-platform evidence personalization, spanning notification candidate generation and emerging applications. Own production ML systems at the intersection of product and platform, delivering GenAI-powered message and asset creation as well as Commerce and new content experiences. Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and partners, and validate impact through offline experiments and rigorous A/B testing at global scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the team’s technical vision and roadmap for candidate generation and emerging applications.
•Partner with Merchandising, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to align ML capabilities with business priorities.
•Design, build, and ship production ML systems that scale across Netflix’s ecosystem.
•Integrate and leverage foundation model capabilities with the AIMS AI Foundations team for member-facing use cases.
•Design and run offline experiments and A/B tests, and raise the bar through mentorship and code review.

Salary: USD 600,000 - 1,066,000 annually

•6+ years applying machine learning in an industry setting with experience delivering production-impactful systems.

•Experience with GenAI, LLMs, or multimodal AI in production systems.
•Strong software engineering in Python, with experience using Scala or Java.
