Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee instrumentation and control construction activities on a major EPCM refinery project, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, and schedule achievement.
  • •Ensure I&C construction contractors comply with HSES policy, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Supervise and coordinate I&C construction work, including instrument installation, impulse tubing, cable tray installation, instrument cabling, junction boxes, marshalling cabinets, control system interfaces, and field instrumentation.
  • •Monitor field construction progress and ensure activities are completed per approved schedules, quality requirements, and project objectives.
  • •Conduct site inspections/surveillance and support inspection, testing, loop checking, and pre-commissioning/commissioning preparation activities; report and assist in resolving instrumentation construction issues.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant construction experience in an Instrument Supervisor role on major EPCM projects in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or power.
  • •At least 10 years working on live plant and project types including greenfield, brownfield, turnaround, shutdown, or revamp in industrial facilities.
  • •Extensive experience supervising instrumentation and control construction activities across refinery/petrochemical/oil & gas/power generation environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, instrument indexes, and project specifications.
  • •Experience supervising instrument installation, cable termination, tubing installation, instrument calibration, loop checking, and pre-commissioning activities.
