Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and/or tear down metal detectors, automatic casing peelers, and slicers; unload sticks from racks and run the automatic peeler.
  • •Slice pepperoni sticks to meet customer specifications, replace blade as needed, and inspect product for defects.
  • •Work with QA on product consistency and quality; gather slice count and FSQA data and input it into PlantView.
  • •Operate the automatic metal detector and rework all metal-rejected sticks offline.
  • •Follow safety and housekeeping procedures, use protective equipment, and rotate through unloading, peeling, slicing, and inspecting duties.
