Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build scalable, distributed solutions to improve Red Hat engineers’ productivity and efficiency.
  • •Maintain development, staging, and production environments, including monitoring and alerting systems.
  • •Support Continuous Integration infrastructure by operating OpenShift cluster operations and building CI infrastructure tools.
  • •Investigate, communicate, and troubleshoot escalated issues from the engineering team.
  • •Participate in on-call rotation, perform code reviews, and mentor other engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Five years or more of software development experience.
  • •Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming languages.
  • •Knowledge of Git, GitHub, JIRA, and Red Hat OpenShift; proficiency with Go (golang) and Prow.
  • •Familiarity with cloud-native system design and development.
  • •Solid experience with Linux, cloud computing (AWS, GCP), distributed systems, high availability, and build tools.
