Job Summary

Drainage and Waterways Engineer role in Perth within the Bridges, Aviation and Roads team. Design and lead drainage systems for civil infrastructure, collaborate with discipline leads on large projects, produce design reports and drawings, and advance digital delivery tools (automation, parametric design, data integration) to improve efficiency and outcomes on transport infrastructure across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

•Design innovative drainage systems for civil infrastructure projects.
•Lead and coordinate design elements to meet project goals and client expectations.
•Partner with discipline leads on large-scale projects and take ownership of deliverables.
•Produce high-quality design reports, models and drawing packages.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's)
•3-15 years of drainage design experience (preferably for transport infrastructure)
•Knowledge of Austroads guidelines, Main Roads WA standards, PTA standards; rail drainage knowledge is a plus
•Hands-on experience with stormwater and drainage design (open channels, culverts, pits and piped systems)
•Proficiency with OpenRoads, 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC (dynamic drainage in 12D); TUFLOW or HECRAS is a bonus
