Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with global engineering teams and technical leads to perform FEA on valve components and assemblies, providing design and development recommendations to reduce weight and improve performance.
  • •Conduct linear and nonlinear structural analyses, including static stress, fatigue/life, thermal stress, and contact and sealing simulations.
  • •Evaluate valve performance under high pressure, temperature, and corrosive environments, including fluid-structure interaction or CFD–FEA coupling for flow-induced stresses and vibrations.
  • •Recommend improvements to structural integrity, sealing performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency, and support product development from concept through validation.
  • •Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and correlate simulation results with experimental data; support RCA and maintain simulation validation methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related FEA experience, including at least 2 years in industrial valves.
  • •Proven experience using FEA tools such as Ansys and Abaqus.
  • •Knowledge of international pressure equipment/valve standards such as ASME, API, EN, ISO (PED), and BS valve standards.
  • •Excellent working knowledge of CAD tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, and Solidworks.
  • •Strong solid mechanics foundation, including nonlinear analysis, fatigue, and fracture mechanics, with the ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple tasks.
