Job Summary

Build and maintain mobile-friendly Progressive Web Applications for Emerson’s Lifecycle Services custom enterprise tools. Design Node.js REST API services and React front ends optimized for mobile and desktop users, including offline-first PWA experiences powered by MongoDB. You’ll implement PWA capabilities (service workers, manifests, caching, push notifications), integrate REST APIs with enterprise services, and deliver through the full SDLC with testing, deployment, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js (frontend) and Node.js with Express.js or NestJS (backend).
•Implement PWA capabilities including service workers, web app manifests, offline caching, push notifications, and installability.
•Develop and maintain RESTful Node.js APIs serving web and mobile-optimized clients with mobile-efficient payloads and performance.
•Design and maintain MongoDB collections, schemas, and queries using NoSQL data modeling best practices.
•Participate in SDLC activities across design, development, testing, deployment, and production support; debug issues across Node.js, MongoDB, and React/PWA layers and collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, and QA.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•3–5 years of full-stack web development experience with hands-on Node.js and React delivery.
•Build REST API services in Node.js using Express.js or NestJS, including routing, middleware, JWT/OAuth2 authentication, and API versioning.
•Proficiency in React (components, hooks, Redux/Context API) and building responsive, mobile-optimized interfaces with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
