Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Programme, Project Leaders, and sponsors to understand strategic objectives and delivery requirements across the programme.
  • •Orchestrate the matrix team and motivate members with clear direction, communication, and resourcing.
  • •Proactively manage plans, budgets, risks, and issues across the programme, escalating as appropriate.
  • •Translate scientific and strategic objectives into integrated project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • •Coordinate execution across wet lab, ML research, data science, and engineering teams, including governance bodies and interdependencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in life sciences, project management, or a related field (advanced degree welcome).
  • •Significant Programme/Project management experience in biotech, pharma, or comparable scientific R&D settings, ideally early-stage discovery (target ID to candidate selection).
  • •Scientific literacy to engage with wet lab biology, single-cell omics, and machine learning, and to track discovery pipeline progress and risks.
  • •Comfort managing evolving programme scope and workstreams as science matures.
  • •Fluency with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira; Gantt, RAID logs).
