Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the direction and delivery of AI Management product modules for agentic AI connectivity (e.g., models, context, guardrails, evaluation, policies).
  • •Define requirements, write product specs, prioritize backlogs, and drive module feature delivery with engineering.
  • •Lead cross-product infrastructure work connecting AI Management modules to other modules and Kong’s broader platform, including AI Gateway dependencies.
  • •Create and maintain a roadmap balancing new features with technical debt, infrastructure work, and platform dependencies.
  • •Act as a stakeholder connector across engineering, design, product marketing, and leadership; provide regional field support as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •7-10 years of product management experience owning and shipping technical products, ideally in agentic AI, infrastructure, developer tools, and/or platform software.
  • •Experience driving product delivery across distributed teams and dependencies across time zones without having direct authority.
  • •Strong ability to translate ambiguous technical problems into clear product requirements and engineering-ready specs.
  • •Clear, proactive written and verbal communication across globally distributed stakeholders; able to communicate in both languages.
  • •Comfort engaging with technical depth (e.g., MCP servers, transport protocols, request routing, data plane architecture, infrastructure trade-offs).
