Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide comprehensive portfolio and market analysis to the Front Office for global HSBC Asset Management strategies.
  • •Interpret and challenge core product performance, volatility, and return drivers in quarterly governance meetings.
  • •Maintain investment risk model understanding and explain drivers of market risk and implications for product performance and attribution.
  • •Support investment process governance by aiding the Investment Process review function and the Investment Process Committee.
  • •Maintain Investment Excellence framework integrity and deliver written investment commentary; enhance analysis tools and support AI adoption.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 15 years of relevant experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • •Strong understanding of financial markets and financial instruments, with interest in financial markets.
  • •Demonstrate understanding of fixed income, equity, and multi-asset product strategies and products.
  • •Analyze volatility and return using key risk and performance drivers and provide challenge at quarterly governance meetings.
  • •Professional qualification preferred: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager.
