Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and complete engineering reviews, designs, calculations, and technical advisory tasks to meet project technical requirements.
  • •Support delivery excellence by arranging technical verification activities in line with AECOM technical standards and processes.
  • •Identify and raise design discrepancies and contribute to problem solving within a collaborative environment.
  • •Work with the local team to mentor graduate and early-stage engineers and build their technical and project capabilities.
  • •Maintain AECOM standards of quality, safety, digital innovation, and client satisfaction during delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of demonstrated engineering experience on renewable energy projects across multiple technologies and OEMs, including construction and commissioning exposure.
  • •Electrical engineering or renewable energy-related qualification with knowledge of electrical balance of plant systems (AC and DC), equipment, and project interfaces.
  • •Ability to own, plan, and complete detailed engineering, technical advisory, and design work packages including technical reviews, site inspections, reports, modelling, and calculations.
  • •Proactive problem solving and the ability to work independently within agreed client timelines, scopes, and budgets.
  • •Registered or working toward professional registration in Australia (e.g., RPEV or RPEQ), ideally supported by Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent accreditation.
