Job Summary

Lead the security strategy and implementation for cloud-based data analytics and AI platforms, designing secure architecture across identity, network, data protection, and AI model deployment. Define multi-year security roadmaps using Zero Trust principles, governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., ITAR, CMMC, SOC/ISO). Partner across enterprise cybersecurity and data/AI teams to build monitoring, incident readiness, and responsible AI guardrails for highly regulated data.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the security architecture and multi-year roadmap for cloud-based data analytics and AI platforms, defining secure design patterns across ingestion, storage, processing, and AI model deployment.
•Implement Zero Trust controls and strong identity and access management, including SSO/MFA, conditional access, and least-privilege RBAC plus secrets governance.
•Ensure data protection and privacy through encryption, key management, and techniques such as masking, anonymization, and tokenization for sensitive regulated data.
•Design network and infrastructure security with segmentation, firewall policies, and secure hybrid connectivity for on-prem to cloud pipelines.
•Establish monitoring, auditing, incident preparedness with SOC collaboration, and define responsible AI policies and guardrails for AI services and agents.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•10+ years combined experience in information security and/or cloud architecture, including 5+ years leading security for cloud data platforms or enterprise analytics solutions.
•Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP, and/or relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security) preferred.
•Hands-on expertise securing public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern analytics platforms like Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks.
•Demonstrated skills across IAM (SSO/MFA, RBAC), network security (VPC/VNet, firewalls, VPN/ExpressRoute, zero-trust), cryptography/key management (KMS/PKI), and data protection/DLP.
