Key Responsibilities

•Design, construct, and evolve critical backend services for the Checkout flow, ensuring availability, performance, resilience, and quality.
•Develop solutions that integrate multiple domains (Payments, Fraud, Shipping, Discounts, Cart, Orders) with end-to-end ownership.
•Use GenAI to accelerate development tasks such as code analysis, test generation, documentation, debugging, migrations, and assisted code reviews.
•Participate in production design, implementation, monitoring, incident analysis, and continuous improvement of mission-critical services.
•Collaborate cross-team with product, business, frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure to resolve complex problems.

Key Requirements

•Solid backend experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot, including API design and clean architecture practices.
•Hands-on testing automation and good practices for distributed systems.
•Experience with high-scale services focused on resiliency, performance, observability, error handling, and production operations.
•Strong affinity for generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, MeliGPT, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) used to improve development speed and quality.
•Ability to prioritize code quality: understand, review, validate, and maintain critical code even when parts are AI-assisted.
