Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts. Coordinate with team leaders and customers for on-site installations and repairs, diagnose equipment issues, and maintain safety and accountability of company assets while handling occasional overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC equipment and systems.
•Diagnose and repair units using software/technology, hand tools, and blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, with technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
