Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee input, peer review and verification of geotechnical data and analyses, including design calculations.
  • •Provide consultative advice to external partners across the project lifecycle, from site selection and optioneering through design and construction.
  • •Manage or oversee geotechnical projects, including planning, schedules, coordination, and meeting programme and budget objectives.
  • •Lead and support the Ground Engineering team to ensure successful project delivery aligned with time and quality expectations.
  • •Maintain industry presence and build client relationships to support business growth, including leading delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology (2:1 or equivalent) or higher.
  • •An MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology is advantageous.
  • •Chartered status.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design.
