Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with engineering and project stakeholders to develop, coordinate, review, and deliver high-quality lighting and electrical design documentation.
  • •Prepare and update lighting layouts, lighting calculations, and associated design drawings in accordance with company, client, and industry drafting standards.
  • •Produce detailed electrical drawings including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable routing, earthing layouts, equipment layouts, cable trench layouts, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
  • •Revise drawings from sketches, markups, design inputs, and engineer comments; conduct drawing quality checks to ensure compliance and coordination.
  • •Support projects through accurate drafting, coordination, and design development, including assistance with detailed design packages and construction documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering Design Drafting, or a related discipline (electrical/engineering related desirable).
  • •Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical and/or lighting drafting using AutoCAD and producing electrical design drawings (e.g., lighting layouts, cable routing, SLDs).
  • •Experience with Revit, MicroStation, Navisworks, or 3D/BIM workflows.
  • •Experience producing lighting and/or calculations and lighting compliance documentation.
  • •Drafting experience in transport or road projects essential (understanding of drafting principles, drawing standards, and document control procedures).
