Job Summary

EHS consultant advising clients on environmental health and safety, supporting operational EHS management, permitting, audits, and integration of safety, quality, and client focus into daily work. Manages project communications, and contributes to growth through proposals and business development across Benelux and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

•Support operational EHS management by helping clients develop and implement EHS procedures, maintain EHS regulatory registers, perform risk analyses, and assist with implementing environmental and/or safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
•Assist clients in obtaining environmental permits by preparing permit applications and maintaining contact with local authorities and stakeholders during the permitting process
•Carry out environmental and occupational safety audits, including compliance and due diligence audits
•Integrate safety, quality and client focus into everyday work
•Perform all project management tasks within your projects and maintain all communications with clients

Key Requirements

•Master in Environmental, Health & Safety Management, Environmental Engineering or similar
•2–5 years of experience in EHS consultancy, with focus on Belgian regulations
•Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (French a plus)
•Diploma as Milieucoordinator (A or B) or as Preventieadviseur (level 1 or 2) is a strong plus
•Good verbal and written communication abilities in Dutch and English
