Job Summary

Manage raw material and consumable supply for Singapore card and module assembly production, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing through inventory planning, MRP-based purchase requisitions, and JIT delivery triggers. Validate material availability for customer orders, NPI, engineering changes, and ramp-ups, while balancing stock to reduce risk, overstock, and obsolescence. Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers, track deliveries, and support inventory optimization and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Responsible for inventory planning and timely stock replenishment to maintain uninterrupted material supply.
•Analyse demand forecast, historical consumption, inventory levels, lead time, purchasing strategies, and replenishment rules to determine purchase quantities and generate purchase requisitions.
•Monitor JIT items and trigger deliveries when stock is running low; validate material availability for customer orders released to production.
•Analyse inventory levels and make purchasing decisions to manage demand fluctuations and maintain optimal stock balance.
•Collaborate with the purchasing team to expedite or defer deliveries, track supplier deliveries for on-time availability, and support inventory optimization and cost-saving initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Diploma/degree in Business Administration/Management or equivalent.
•Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in material planning.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in inventory planning and control.
•Good knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and supply chain processes.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
