Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic (data) models based on business requirements and design specifications.
  • •Write and optimize DAX measures and build efficient star-schema/dimensional data models.
  • •Develop and maintain Power Query (M) transformations for data preparation and shaping.
  • •Connect Power BI to data sources (Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Excel, and others) and manage publishing, scheduling, and refreshes in Power BI Service.
  • •Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders; support testing, validation, UAT, and troubleshoot performance or data accuracy issues.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards (Desktop and Service).
  • •Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling (star schema, relationships), and Power Query (M).
  • •Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience connecting Power BI to enterprise data sources including Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Excel, or similar.
  • •Basic understanding of Power BI Service administration (workspaces, apps, gateways, and refresh scheduling).
