Job Summary

Process high-value, time-sensitive wire and real-time payments using Fedwire, CHIPS, and the RTP network. Monitor fraud and anti-money laundering activity, troubleshoot payment exceptions, and route international USD wires to clearing banks. Provide call support for commercial clients, perform payment research via internal systems, and support compliance with state and federal regulations while continuously improving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Process international and domestic inbound/outbound wire payments using internal payment origination networks and customer calls, including authentication via security PINs and special instructions.
•Process domestic inbound/outbound real-time payments, troubleshoot exceptions, and handle customer inquiries.
•Monitor inbound/outbound fraud-related and anti-money laundering payment activity and escalate to Compliance/management as needed.
•Troubleshoot file/batch exceptions from electronic transmission failures and perform systemic clearance/deletion activities based on research.
•Execute governmental mandated payment remittances and perform payment research using centralized tracking and multiple servicing systems; support procedure improvements and escalate high-value issues as appropriate.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•2 to 3 years of prior banking experience, preferably in Global Payments.
•PC skills including Windows and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
•Proficiency with 10-key and very good mathematical skills.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to research, recognize, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
