Job Summary

Own manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and engineering changes by managing Bills of Material and master data in Infor M3. Execute engineering change notices in ERP/PLM, coordinating with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, planning, and IT to keep prerequisites synchronized. Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen), support digitalization efforts, and translate project requirements into production tasks so ramp-ups are safe, efficient, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and maintain production BOMs and item master data in Infor M3, ensuring timely and accurate release after design finalization or approvals.
•Manage engineering change notices (ECNs/CNs) in ERP/PLM systems and update BOMs and documentation to reflect design changes with minimal disruption.
•Coordinate production preparation for new product introductions and pre-series/pilot builds, including master data setup, routings/operation codes, tooling/fixtures, and work instructions/training.
•Serve as the cross-functional interface across engineering, production, quality, sourcing/supply chain, planning, and IT/digitalization to synchronize prerequisites and troubleshoot issues impacting production start/output.
•Lead or support lean/continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives, and participate in operations projects as a production preparation representative.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Production, or related) or equivalent, with 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production planning, or industrialization.
•Demonstrated experience in new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change management.
•Strong expertise in manufacturing ERP systems, ideally Infor M3, including BOM and material master data management.
•Good understanding of PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and engineering change processes.
•Proficiency with lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) and data analysis; MS Office, with Power BI experience a plus.
