Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify that systems are designed, installed, and operate within the basis of design and specified criteria.
  • •Review and verify MEP design documents, construction submittals, and sequences of operation for conformance.
  • •Plan, chair, and document project commissioning meetings.
  • •Write system checklists and functional performance operational tests for every system point, mode, input, and output.
  • •Direct onsite system testing/monitoring, track issues, and resolve them with contractors, engineers, and owners.

Salary: USD 90,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant building science, plus two years of relevant experience, or 5 years equivalent work in MEP systems.
  • •Knowledge of MEP systems installation and operation required.
  • •Preferred to have passed the FE and be on track for Professional Engineer (PE).
  • •LEED AP and on-track commissioning certification (such as CxA, CCP, or BCxP) preferred.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce detailed, well-formatted technical deliverables.
