Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on GSE and MHE during turn-in processing, including preventive and corrective maintenance per Army standards and TMs.
  • •Service and repair equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and replace components to return assets to a serviceable state when authorized.
  • •Verify condition codes, annotate deficiencies for property accountability, and tag/segregate/document unserviceable equipment for proper disposition.
  • •Maintain audit-ready maintenance and inspection records using DA forms and Army systems such as GCSS-Army, including condition code updates.
  • •Adhere to OSHA, Army, and company safety policies, and coordinate with supply/material teams to verify serviceability and documentation during turn-in operations.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining GSE or MHE in an Army or contractor environment.
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), PMCS, and property accountability requirements.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and troubleshoot using Army-approved diagnostic tools.
  • •Experience with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army, including condition code classification and related supply documentation.
  • •Ability to operate MHE (e.g., forklifts/cranes) with proper licensing (OF 346 or equivalent).
