Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with ODM/OEM/customer teams for issue isolation, debug, and validation of AMD data center products.
  • •Reproduce issues internally and isolate related problems to resolve them against product development/sustaining milestones.
  • •Collaborate with internal engineering teams (silicon design, board engineering, validation, manufacturing) during critical issues.
  • •Provide root cause analysis and guidance to internal and customer design teams to resolve complex system-level problems.
  • •Develop debug tools to scale customer debug proliferation and support projects through ambiguity and cross-team coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of extensive experience and an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • •Experience debugging server/data center systems with platform-level debugging and issue isolation.
  • •Knowledge and hands-on use of standard debuggers, programmers, and emulators.
  • •Understanding of datacenter high-speed interfaces and buses including HBM, DDR, PCIe, plus high-speed digital design and signal integrity.
  • •Proficiency with BIOS, OS, and driver interactions at the system level, including x86 CPU architecture and functionality.
