Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with engineers, architects, and business teams on technology that supports HSBC globally.
  • •Help develop new digital products and improve existing services, depending on your team.
  • •Test and maintain systems, and support software that keeps the bank running.
  • •Monitor performance, investigate technical issues, and recommend improvements.
  • •Develop engineering capability through training, skills coaching, self-led learning, and hackathons.

Key Requirements

  • •Be available to work full time from March 2027 or July 2027 onwards.
  • •Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.0/4.0 (or overseas equivalent).
  • •Be a recent graduate with less than 2 years’ full-time work experience, or be due to graduate by July 2027.
  • •Be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • •Be legally permitted to work in mainland China for the full duration of the graduate programme and beyond, without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship.
