Job Summary

Maintain and repair equipment in a concrete manufacturing plant, including diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and installing or assembling machinery from blueprints and drawings. Troubleshoot and repair batch panels, motors, and pumps, and operate shop and plant equipment such as grinders, saws, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes. Keep work areas clean, follow OSHA and safety policies, and be prepared to travel to other facilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Visually inspect machines and equipment, and review operator-reported issues to locate causes of malfunctions.
•Conduct plant inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
•Install and/or assemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other drawings.
•Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs, including batch panels, motors, and pumps.
•Operate shop equipment and maintain housekeeping standards while following OSHA and company safety policies.

Key Requirements

•Strong mechanical knowledge of machine diagnosis and repairs, including preventative maintenance.

•Must be able to use basic hand tools and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
