Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support on hydraulic modelling studies for regulated water clients, including interrogating/enhancing existing models and building new models to assess asset performance.
  • •Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support delivery of current and future wastewater work.
  • •Support feasibility studies and optioneering using network models to evaluate and optimise asset performance.
  • •Prepare reports and supporting drawings.
  • •Define work needed by field investigation teams and help maintain client relationships through coordination of internal and client project meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in a relevant discipline (engineering, environmental science, geography).
  • •A chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE/CIWEM) or working towards chartership.
  • •Sound knowledge and experience in urban drainage modelling, including checking technical outputs of others.
  • •Extensive experience of hydraulic modelling using industry-standard software, specifically InfoWorks ICM or similar.
  • •Familiarity with industry-standard GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo).
