Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead timely, risk-based reviews of customer contracts and related commercial arrangements for compliance with U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, corporate accounting policies, and statutory requirements
  • •Apply the ASC 606 five-step model to identify performance obligations, allocate transaction price, and determine revenue recognition timing and method
  • •Assess complex/non-standard provisions (e.g., termination and cancellation rights, variable consideration, liquidated damages, acceptance clauses, warranties, significant financing, principal-versus-agent, and contract modifications)
  • •Evaluate project accounting implications including point-in-time vs over-time recognition, measures of progress, contract costs, change orders, unbilled receivables, advances, loss provisions, and other judgments
  • •Partner with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and project teams before contract execution; provide accounting guidance and training; support audits, close activities, and documentation/internal controls

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of accounting, controllership, audit, or finance experience, including technical accounting, revenue recognition, project accounting, or business controls
  • •Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • •Prior Big 4 consulting experience, preferably with multinational, industrial, or complex revenue-recognition clients
  • •Demonstrated experience applying U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 to customer contracts, revenue arrangements, or long-term projects
  • •Experience with technical accounting research and documentation; SAP, Hyperion, or similar ERP and reporting tools is advantageous
