Key Responsibilities

  • •Lubricate bearings, gears, cylinders, shafts, sprockets, slides, and other moving parts and wearing surfaces according to established practices and prescribed schedules.
  • •Follow lubrication drawings and machine specifications to install and maintain grease fittings, lubrication lines, and lubrication systems.
  • •Repair and maintain oil pumps and dispensing units as required.
  • •Use hand and power tools (e.g., crescent/pipe wrenches, hammer, chisel, center punch, drills, saws, cutters) to perform assigned duties.
  • •Perform work described in the IAMAW labor agreement under the Lubricator training program.

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Completion of the Lubricator training program or 3-5 years previous experience in industrial lubrication and fluid power is required.
