Key Responsibilities

  • •Support cybersecurity specialists across Offensive Security, Vulnerability Management, Cryptography, and Data Security depending on your placement.
  • •Help identify vulnerabilities and assess cyber risks to strengthen HSBC’s cyber resilience.
  • •Support threat simulations and contribute to risk reviews and consultancy activity.
  • •Protect data and secure communications as part of ongoing cyber operations.
  • •Learn how cyber teams respond to real threats through practical, high-impact work within a global team.

Key Requirements

  • •Be available to work full time from March 2027 or July 2027 onwards.
  • •Have obtained, or expect to achieve, a minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.0/4.0 (or overseas equivalent).
  • •Be a recent graduate with less than 2 years’ full-time work experience, or be due to graduate by July 2027.
  • •Be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • •Be legally permitted to work in mainland China for the full duration of the graduate programme and beyond, without requiring HSBC visa sponsorship.
