Key Responsibilities

  • •Define strategic direction for the department’s Systems Engineering and Integration & Test personnel aligned to business and program requirements.
  • •Manage resource planning and allocation to ensure the right skills and tools for current and future program needs.
  • •Chair critical Design and Test Reviews and collaborate on optimal test strategies across assigned programs.
  • •Ensure execution performance and integrity of design, integration, verification, and test processes through development gate, test readiness, performance, and EAC reviews.
  • •Provide performance management and staff development for Section Leads and the broader department workforce (goal setting, training, developmental assignments, and assessments).

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM (or equivalent) and a minimum 14 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum 12 years of experience.
  • •System engineering, integration, test, and verification experience.
  • •Technical leadership experience with direct reports and/or managing multiple programs/projects.
  • •Direct functional leadership experience.
  • •Active U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.
