Job Summary

Lead delivery for the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team by translating product requirements into EPICs and technical stories. Plan sprints, manage dependencies and team bandwidth, and drive engineering processes that improve execution. Stay hands-on through code reviews and ensure strong design patterns. Own monitoring and observability for services, meeting SLIs/SLOs, and partner with product to publish post-deployment metrics while running incident RCA.

Key Responsibilities

•Own delivery and execution for the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team by evaluating feasibility and translating requirements into EPICs and technical stories.
•Plan and organize sprints with clear goals, timelines, milestones, and early identification of dependencies.
•Track team velocity, allocate resources effectively, and coordinate dependencies to avoid bottlenecks.
•Contribute hands-on via design pattern and coding technique guidance and participate in code reviews to maintain quality.
•Ensure monitoring and observability are in place for owned services and partner on post-deployment product metrics and RCA during incidents.

Key Requirements

•8+ years as a software developer/engineer (or similar).
•5+ years of Node JS or Python experience.
•3+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring engineers.

•Experience breaking down complex requirements into EPICs, stories, and tasks, plus solid backend expertise (frontend is a plus).
