Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development and implementation of environmental plans and programs to meet corporate policies, business goals, and regulatory compliance.
•Conduct environmental training and education; support EMS program modifications and improvements.
•Research developments in environmental controls; recommend improvements and integration of new management programs.
•Evaluate proposed state and federal laws/regulations; coordinate with local authorities on emergency response capabilities.
•Collaborate with departments to anticipate evolving environmental needs and implement comprehensive strategies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,000 - 110,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental studies or physical or natural sciences, or related area (preferred)
•5 years of experience in engineering, science, compliance planning work or environmental resource management with an electric utility, consulting firm or government agency
•Must possess a valid driver’s license
•Solid knowledge and interpretation of environmental rules and EPA regulations as they apply to the utility industry
•Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive work environment and lead project teams
