Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate overhead and remote cranes to lift, move, and stack beam blanks in the yard as instructed.
  • •Manipulate crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement per signals and instructions.
  • •Inspect the crane daily for safety issues and determine malfunctioning parts to report.
  • •Work with QC for inspection position bars and handle skips position/removal as required.
  • •Perform related yard duties including lifting machinery/equipment, clearing cobbles, monitoring/removing filled skips, and assisting with saw blade/strapping machine setup and other crane tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate overhead and remote cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads safely within lifting limits.
  • •Process and maintain a valid crane driver’s license.
  • •Minimum 5 years of previous experience in the same field.
  • •Hold a Technical Diploma (minimum education qualification).
  • •Inspect the crane daily and report malfunctioning parts to the Feedstock Controller/Supervisor. Also work safely at heights and follow verbal/visual instructions.
