Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply SIOP, min-max, safety stock, kanban, and inventory health methods to manage direct materials and improve procurement efficiency.
  • •Build strong relationships with domestic suppliers and interco plants; coordinate purchasing and short- and long-term forecasts.
  • •Order/expedite/de-expedite supply from interco and non-interco (domestic), and coordinate with logistics for inbound shipments.
  • •Monitor sales demand vs. supply across horizons, drive plan vs. actual alignment with sales/planning, and report MIS threats (past due/OTD/ops review).
  • •Run MMA activities (min-max, ABCQ, E&O, MRB, PFEP, active/inactive part review), release interco orders, and prevent shortages to avoid zero-line stoppages.

Key Requirements

  • •6-8 years of experience in planning and procurement in an engineering company, preferably auto components.
  • •Sound technical knowledge of manufacturing planning and inventory management with buying role expertise.
  • •Educational qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Knowledge of applicable statutory requirements.
  • •Strong supplier/customer relationship skills and cross-functional teamwork in a matrix organization.
