Job Summary

Serve as Senior Employment and Benefits Counsel, advising on complex labor and employment matters for a dynamic marketplace. Partner with Legal and People teams and cross-functional stakeholders to provide timely, pragmatic guidance, lead policy and training initiatives, manage employment-related litigation, and draft key employment and benefits documents. Help protect and scale the business by identifying and mitigating risk while enabling the company to move quickly.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise on employee relations matters including terminations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, and other workplace issues.
•Lead and support employment-related initiatives such as policy development, process improvements, and training programs.
•Lead and support employment-related litigation matters.
•Draft, review, and refine employment-related documents including agreements, policies, and internal communications.
•Advise on employee benefits matters including equity incentive programs, and collaborate cross-functionally to educate teams on employment and benefits legal considerations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 178,500 - 280,000 annually

Key Requirements

•J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the U.S.
•5-7 years of legal experience advising clients on employment and benefits matters, including employment-related litigation.
•Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and written and verbal communication skills.
•Sound judgment balancing legal risks against business goals.
•Ability to thrive as a self-starter in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
