Job Summary

Provide networking managed services at an entry-level (L1) scope by monitoring client infrastructure, detecting and triaging incidents, and resolving first-line technical issues using approved SOPs. Handle tickets and request fulfillment via telephonic support, ITSM tickets, or chat, including maintenance tasks like patching and configuration changes. Escalate when needed, support shift handovers, and contribute to knowledge updates and service optimization.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to catch errors before or as they occur.
•Investigate and resolve first-line incidents by following approved procedures for request fulfillment.
•Provide support through telephonic support, ITSM tickets, or chat support.
•Execute maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes and ensure smooth shift handovers.
•Escalate incidents/requests when necessary and update knowledge to support continuous learning and process improvements.

Key Requirements

•Basic understanding of technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper Virtual, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr/ISr routers, Cisco ACS/ISE, and Meraki switches.
•Working knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
•Discipline in handling tickets daily and acting promptly as per defined SOPs.
•Ability to resolve tickets using knowledge articles and provided SOPs.
•Good understanding of ITSM tools/processes and a bachelor’s degree in information technology/computing (or equivalent experience).
