Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer protection and controls for campus power, covering relaying schemes from generation through distribution.
  • •Own settings: develop coordination studies and relay files, ensuring they are verified and configuration-managed.
  • •Design the P&C architecture, including relays, communications, and SCADA integration aligned to the reference design.
  • •Support commissioning by loading settings, testing functions, and root-causing misoperations.
  • •Investigate relay operations using event records to determine the truth behind system behavior.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 203,000 - 232,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Protection engineering experience, including relay settings and coordination for MV and HV systems.
  • •Hands-on experience developing settings for SEL or equivalent protection platforms.
  • •Experience commissioning protection schemes in the field.
  • •Ability to investigate relay operations using event records.
