Job Summary

Lead the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) function for a newly constructed multi-building manufacturing campus. Initially partner with real estate and facilities to embed safety and environmental risk mitigation into construction, then drive ongoing EHS programs across manufacturing and R&D. Manage and develop EHS teams, investigate incidents, identify hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and oversee hazardous waste management.

•Lead and manage the EHS department, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
•Assist accident/incidents investigations, analyze root causes, and implement preventative actions.
•Serve as an EHS interface and liaison with employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulators.
•Perform and document safety inspections to identify workplace safety hazards and conditions.
•Manage hazardous waste and ensure compliance with safety programs and standards (e.g., hazard communication, fall protection, respiratory protection, LOTO, emergency response, chemical management).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

•5+ years of experience implementing and overseeing environmental, health and safety programs.
•Experience leading teams.
•Experience in Cal/OSHA.
•Experience in 40 CFR Parts 260-279 Hazardous Waste Management.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engaging with leadership, regulators, front-line staff, and third-party partners.
