Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn and apply the commercial engine certification process for active commercial certification programs, including NGPF (Next Generation Product Family) programs.
  • •Collaborate with certification specialists, ODA Unit Members, CIPTs, and other systems disciplines to develop substantiation plans and reports for initial engine model certification and post-certification design changes.
  • •Track certification deliverables through the steps of the certification process and coordinate with members of engine program SIPTs.
  • •Lead validation projects (via the FAA) for certified product through foreign regulators following established agreements.
  • •Once fully proficient, become eligible to support one or more engine programs as an ODA unit member with FAA delegated authority.
