Key Responsibilities

  • •Interface between the project engineering group and the construction group on small facility-based projects.
  • •Provide field oversight of construction aspects of capital projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Read and understand engineering construction packages and other documents describing project scope.
  • •Review and comment on material take-offs and construction estimating; follow up on ordered materials, installations, and redlines.
  • •Meet or exceed company and customer safety standards and ensure construction work complies with required procedures and standards.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of industrial experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • •Experience with industrial construction methods used in chemical manufacturing facilities.
  • •Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methods for piping and mechanical systems.
  • •Experience overseeing groups of contractors during construction.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (SAP knowledge is a plus).
