Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute measurement projects, including preliminary scoping and equipment sizing/selection.
  • •Select and size meters, control valves, relief valves, and piping components, plus gas sampling, odorization, gas heaters, and filter separators.
  • •Perform pressure drop calculations and design/implementation of overpressure protection for measurement facilities.
  • •Create schematics and bills of material, technical specifications, engineering/construction/O&M standards, and coordinate engineering reports, calculations, studies, and presentations.
  • •Support Operations troubleshooting at measurement and regulation facilities and recommend code-compliant design changes to optimize safe, efficient operation.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 years of gas industry experience (preferred).
  • •Working knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including 49CFR Part 192, ASME B31.8, AGA, API, and GPA.
  • •Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical piping drawings, and equipment fabrication drawings.
  • •Working knowledge of selecting, sizing, and operating orifice, turbine, ultrasonic, positive displacement, and Coriolis meters and associated equipment.
