Job Summary

Lead advanced cleanroom manufacturing and continuous-improvement work in Focal Plane Operations with minimal supervision. Serve as a technical resource for operators and engineers, supporting hardware processing, inspections, engineering/lab work orders, and factory readiness. In Goleta, California, you’ll coordinate planning documentation reviews, troubleshoot workmanship and paperwork issues, support value stream mapping and time studies, and help drive TAKT goals across work cells.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as an advanced technical resource in cleanroom hardware processing and continuous improvement within Focal Plane Operations.
•Collaborate with area leads to provide hands-on support, perform inspections, and execute/carry out work orders (EWOs and LWOs).
•Support factory readiness by reviewing certified review plannings and Base OIs, identifying document errors ahead of WIP impact, and resolving planning/Eyelit/change order paperwork issues.
•Act as a factory liaison for TAKT goals, value stream mapping, and time studies, and monitor processing supplies/tooling to reduce missing material occurrences.
•Prepare for factory audits, coordinate engineering/process engineering support on special projects (with supervisor approval), and serve as a point of contact for relevant holds.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training).
•U.S. citizenship is required.
•Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in MS Office (Excel).
•Experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or equivalent (preferred: more than 8 years).
