Job Summary

Lead supplier quality excellence for assigned Collins Aerospace plants as the primary focal for Global Supplier Quality, driving performance management and proactive risk mitigation across the supply base. Serve as a trusted subject-matter expert across Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Supplier Management, manage non-conformance and corrective actions, host multi-party audits, and maintain Approved Supplier List processes using ERP and ASL tools. Hybrid role based in Phoenix with up to 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee complex supplier quality projects and lead supplier quality performance management activities while mitigating emerging supply-base risks.
•Act as a subject-matter expert and partner across Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Supplier Management to improve supplier performance.
•Serve as the Interiors SBU focal for the supplier quality function.
•Support supplier non-conformance management and corrective action activities, including ETQ corrective action management and QN processing.
•Host 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits and manage site compliance to supplier quality processes, plus maintain Approved Supplier List administration within ERP/ASL tools.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
•Knowledge of key supplier quality processes such as supplier auditing, RCCA management, KPI oversight, and risk-based improvement initiatives.
•Cross-functional project management experience working with external suppliers and peer functions.
•Strong understanding of problem-solving methodologies including 8D, APQP, and PPAP.
•Experience ensuring compliance with aerospace QMS certifications/standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO9120.
