Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the timely preparation, review, and coordination of assigned quarterly and annual SEC filing sections and joint venture GAAP financial statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • •Manage preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A sections, cash flow statements, and guarantor financial statements.
  • •Prepare, research, and review XBRL tagging for assigned areas; administer and support SEC filing processes through Wdesk.
  • •Coordinate and drive team performance on cross-departmental projects; mentor and coach team members with technical guidance.
  • •Support audit activities by coordinating with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and assist with SOX compliance and internal control initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field is required.
  • •Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on financial statement preparation and SEC reporting/management of reporting processes.
  • •Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • •Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (and also Access and Word).
  • •CPA or a Master’s in Business is advantageous; XBRL tagging, HFM, Workiva, FERC reporting, and Lawson (G/L) experience are desirable.
