Lead and grow a cross-disciplinary team of ML and distributed systems experts focused on the Research Tools that power large-scale finetuning, research productivity, and production pipelines. You’ll align research, product, and infrastructure priorities, design effective processes, coach engineers, and drive recruiting during rapid team growth, enabling fast iteration and impactful model improvements.

•Prioritize the team’s work in collaboration with the technical lead, research teams, and product teams to support fast iteration on research projects and training runs.
•Design processes (e.g., postmortem review, incident response, on-call rotations) that help the team operate effectively.
•Coach and support your reports to understand and pursue their professional growth.
•Run the team’s recruiting efforts efficiently, ensuring we can grow as quickly as we need through a period of rapid growth.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 1 - 2 annually

•2+ years of people management experience with coaching and performance evaluation
•Experience designing and running research-to-production pipelines or distributed ML systems
•Strong ability to prioritize work across research, product, and infrastructure teams to enable fast iteration
