Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the roadmap for Aon’s network evaluation framework and ensure analytics are rigorous, scalable, and differentiated.
  • •Lead design and maintenance of the core network evaluation methodology, including UDS sign-off, total cost-of-care analyses, and emerging health plan evaluation approaches.
  • •Develop and enhance analytic models and tools for opportunity quantification, benchmarking, scenario testing, and evaluation of financial proposals for health plans and networks.
  • •Translate methods into scalable data pipelines, algorithms, and interactive tools by partnering with data engineering, data science, and actuarial teams.
  • •Lead and develop a small team of network evaluation specialists by reviewing work for accuracy, and coaching junior staff while supporting client-facing and growth activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8–10 years of experience in health care consulting, health plan, or related environment with significant responsibility for UDS/discount methodology, network measurement, or value-based care evaluation.
  • •Hands-on experience evaluating medical provider networks across traditional and emerging health plans, including ACOs/CINs, tiered and narrow networks, and value-based arrangements.
  • •Demonstrated experience designing or governing analytic methodologies, models, or products (e.g., pricing/underwriting, network evaluation, risk adjustment).
  • •Strong proficiency with large health claims and encounter datasets; familiarity with provider quality data and coding standards (CPT, DRG, ICD-10-PCS).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and required actuarial credentials (ASA/FSA).
