Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with leading and coordinating safety process efforts for commercial sales/service offices under the Regional EHS Leader.
  • •Perform inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits with technicians at customer sites (service and contracting).
  • •Maintain accurate safety, occupational health, and environmental records in compliance with OSHA/DOT and other applicable regulations and Trane procedures.
  • •Implement Trane safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • •Analyze safety data for continual improvement; coordinate investigations of injuries/near misses/incidents and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or related field preferred.
  • •One or more safety-related professional certifications desired (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHSM).
  • •3+ years of practical EHS management experience at a medium-large site preferred.
  • •General knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DOT, and Canada Health & Safety Board as regionally appropriate.
  • •Strong computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EHS data management systems (e.g., Gensuite).
