Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor boilers and related equipment, including pressure gauges, flow meters, thermometers, and other measurement devices.
  • •Adjust controls to maintain specified temperature, steam pressure, air pressure, water pressure, and other settings.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, replacing filters, and completing checklist-based actions.
  • •Inspect, test, diagnose, and locate malfunctions; determine corrective actions and perform timely repairs.
  • •Install, maintain, and repair electro-pneumatic valves and direct control devices; assist the maintenance team across the plant as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers and steam systems while following safety regulations and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • •Have at least 2 years of mechanical experience, with mechanical and welding experience preferred.
  • •Experience with maintenance procedures and the ability to read and understand schematics, piping, sketches, and complex blueprints.
  • •Ability to perform repairs and routine maintenance, including pipe repairs, and handle emergency/unplanned problems.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent preferred; electrical background, boiler experience, and protein conversion experience preferred.
